Day 1: Ulaanbaatar
Welcome to Mongolia! All riders will be picked up from the International Airport and transferred to a hotel in the city center. Dinner with the crew and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar to Elsen Tasarkhai
(280 kilometers)
The start of the adventure is an 280 km section of the Sand dunes (mini GOBI) and is our first challenge. Breakfast at the hotel and collection of our motorbikes, departure of off-road motorcycles and service vans, heading south and following the tracks on the Steppe. The Mongolian Steppe reveals itself to our eyes: starting from today, we will get views and contacts with the nomads and their lifestyle. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional ger (YURTA) traditional Mongolian camp or camping outdoor depends on weather.

Day 3: Sand Dune - Kharkhorin - Orkhon valley

Breakfast and we will move west, stopping by the sand dunes of Mongol Els, then we will visit the old Mongolian capital and the Erdene Zuu Khiid, the first Buddhist monastery built in Mongolia 420 years ago. The monastery is surrounded by 108 magnificent stupas, which once counted almost 100 temples, 300 gers and almost 1,000 monks. Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape sprawls along the banks of the Orkhon River in Central Mongolia, some 320 km west from the capital Ulaanbaatar. It was inscribed by UNESCO in the World Heritage List as representing the development of nomadic pastoral traditions spanning more than two millennia.

Day 4: TSENKHER HOT SPRING

There are in Arkhangai many old volcanos, which explains the presence of this hot water source that flows all year long at 1860 metres (1,16 mile) above the sea level in the sum of Tsenkher. The water is at 85,5°C (185,9°F).In a pleasant verdant wooded area, some yurts camps with equipment and baths with a less hot temperature have been set up for the travellers, but also for the nomads and the inhabitants. Tsenkher hot springs have healing properties notably on articular diseases and nervous system’s diseases. Composition: sodium carbonate, hydrocarbonate, sulfate, fluorite, hydrogen sulfide. We will enjoy hot springs

Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake also known as White Lake is a lake in the Khangai Mountains in central Mongolia. The Khorgo volcano is located near the eastern end of the lake and the Suman River springs from lake. The lake is located in Khorgo-Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park.

Day 6: White lake - Ugii lake

Ögii Lake is a freshwater lake in eastern Arkhangai, in central Mongolia. The lake, designated as a Ramsar Site of International Importance, is known for its fish and for birdlife. It is a stopover point for migrating waterbirds of the family Anatidae. Almost half the lake is less than 3 meters deep.

Day 7: KHUSTAI NATIONAL PARK

Hustain Nuruu National Park, also known as Hustai National Park, is a large conservation area in central Mongolia’s Töv Province. It’s known for its population of wild takhi (Przewalski’s horse) and its ger (yurt) camps. Trails lead across the steppe to the remote Moilt camp. In the park’s southwest, the Ungut monuments are a collection of ancient Turkic stone figures and Bronze Age rock carvings.

Return to Ulaanbaatar, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. The first 25km are across open steppe on the rough tracks we have become used to. After “Dashinchilen” the road (Millenium Road) has been ‘surfaced’, so the final stretch to the city should be a bit quicker. ‘Overnight in hotel’

Day 9: DEPARTURE
